Solid Shapes (3D Shapes)

Solid shapes, also known as three-dimensional (3D) shapes, have length, width, and height. Unlike plane shapes (2D), solid shapes occupy space and have volume and surface area.

Common Solid Shapes

    • Properties: 6 faces, 12 edges, 8 vertices
    • Example: Dice, Rubik’s Cube
  2. Cuboidal 📦

    • Properties: 6 faces (rectangular), 12 edges, 8 vertices
    • Example: Bricks, Shoe box
  3. Cylinder 
    •  🥤

      • Properties: 2 circular faces, 1 curved face, no edges or vertices
      • Example: Pipes, Cans
